This company was formed for two primary reasons. First, the idea that there are many people out there with hours and hours of valuable video tape that has rarely if ever been watched for lack of convenience. The second reason is that there are many individuals or companies out there with videotape that is slowly but surely degrading from use or simply by sitting on the shelf.

How many of you went out and bought that expensive camcorder when your first child was born? Then you faithfully recorded your child's first steps, their first words, their birthday parties, their sporting events, etc… Their lives are chronicled on those videotapes. But now, you rarely if ever watch those videos because it's too much trouble to get the camcorder out (does it even still work) and connect it to your TV, find the right tape and fast forward or rewind it to the right place and then finally watch it. After that you have to rewind the tape, and then put the camcorder away. So you don't enjoy them now but you figure that one-day when they are grown up your kids will enjoy watching them. Have these thought ever crossed your mind. The answer to the convenience issue can be spelled out with three letters “DVD.” If you don't already own a DVD player, they can be purchased for under $100 dollars at many retail electronics stores. (We bought one from BestBuy for $53 and one from Costco for $59.) How much easier would it be to watch those home videos if you could walk up to you DVD cabinet, browse through your home DVD's, looking at full color thumbnail pictures of what's on the disc, pick the one your looking for and pop it in the DVD player. Now, regarding your kids enjoying them when they are grown up, data stored on magnetic media (videotapes are a form of magnetic media) is not permanent. If you are a business or a government agency that has training or surveillance video that needs to be stored and accessed more efficiently, this is also the solution you've been looking for. DVD's in their standard cases can be stored in half the shelf space that VHS videos take up and can even be stored in readily available smaller cases. Training videos that are used regularly are degrading from use and simply the passing of time. DVD's, with proper care would allow these instructional videos to be used over and over without degradation and with much greater convenience.

No DVD authoring package was found that would print the packaging the way we wanted, set chapter breaks, the way we wanted and perform the entire task in an efficient manner, allowing us to offer our services as such a competitive price.
